Sainsbury’s to challenge EU on ‘ugly’ fruit and veg

‘Supermarket Sainsbury’s has said it will challenge a ban on selling ‘ugly’ fruit and vegetables which fail to meet EU rules on size and shape.’

  1. sainsburys are absolutely bonkers
    I am a greengrocer and I have seen the waste
    in the wholesale markets,that are dumped because the inspectors have said that they are not up to a certain standard
    we dump far too much food its about time the consumer realised that the supermarkets
    care only about themselves not what their customers want
