For years the LGBT community has been told that one of the reasons why the gay village must be fenced off and ticket-only during Manchester Pride is due to the bylaws concerning public drinking. Now, once again, that policy has been exposed for the fraud it always was.
More ticket prices prices have been announced for Manchester Pride 2008. Note that in many cases tickets are ‘subject to a booking and transaction fee’ (see below). ‘EARLY BIRD’ TICKET PRICE UP BY 25%
As the running costs of Manchester Pride continue to spiral out of control, it has emerged that anyone buying an ‘early bird’ ticket this year will pay £12.50. A 25% increase on last year’s price of £10.
