A friend of mine also earns a living from photography and has shot some really
quite stunning panoramic pictures lately. It's something I've never explored much,
except for a couple of experiments a few years ago.
My friend reckoned that Arcsoft Panorama Maker was one of the best tools for stitching
the images together. So that's what I used for this panorama, which I shot from
an upstairs window at the back of the house.
Arcsoft products aren't exactly in the same league as Adobe Photoshop, full versions
tend to come bundled free with cameras etc. So I was surprised to hear my pro
friend recommend this budget software. But I must admit, Panorama Maker does a
superb job of stitching together the multiple images.
You can't see where they join, except for one spot on the garden fence.
