SERVER LOGS
Nearly all websites store data about visitors in server logs. This data includes
your IP address -- a unique number that is linked with your internet connection.
Other details stored include: the pages you view and sometimes the websites that
you came from (eg. Google) and go to when you leave our site.
The server logs give us an overview of which pages are most popular, how people
find our website and where they go to when they leave. They helps us to improve
the content on g7uk.com.
However, you are not personally identifiable to us purely from the data that
is stored in the server logs.
PRIVACY OF THE ABOVE DATA
The only people with access to this data are the webmaster of the site and
the technical staff of the web hosting company. Ordinarily, no details that might
identify a visitor will ever be shared with a third party. An exception could
be if a person is involved in posting abuse, attacking the hosting server or other
illegal activities.
The logs are stored in a part of the server that is password-protected. Currently
the server is located in the USA.
