Manchester Libraries get free wi-fi

The temporary city centre library (which is at Elliot House, 151 Deansgate) has introduced free wi-fi on all three floors.

Customers who have a library card get two hours of free use per day and up to four gigabytes of data transfer (two gigs of downloads and two gigs of uploads). Laptop charging points are also available.

During 2011 the service will be rolled out to Forum Library, Chorlton Library, Didsbury Library, North City Library, Longsight Library and Beswick Academy.
